Case Study

Noda / Budget Taxis

Noda taxis is one of Newcastle’s longest standing taxi companies. Alongside their sister company, Budget, they are well established names in the local area known for their reliability and high standards.

Services provided:

  • Website design and development

  • Integration with third-party booking system

  • Front end design for an app

  • SEO and keyword development

The brief

BW3 had a long-standing relationship with both companies having worked with them on multiple projects over the last 10 years. When the company changed ownership a couple of years ago, they came to us with a brief to start from scratch to create a digital presence that stood up against the new wave of competition in the taxi market.

The outcome

The end result was the creation of two websites – one for each firm – which were designed to put the customer first. The companies introduced online bookings via the website, as well as allowing customers to get estimates for journeys – setting up an account should they wish to was also made more streamlined. BW3 worked closely with the third party booking system to allow for seamless integration with the booking engine, and we also worked closely with an app company to ensure that the downloadable app matched the look and feel of the website.

Since the sites launched, there has been constant attention to SEO, and visitor traffic is up some 400% while app downloads have also shown a marked increase.

Paul was responsible for all photography on the site which included a full-day shoot throughout Newcastle at some well-known landmarks.

I would just like to say a big thanks to Paul who has done a great job on our new web-site which is so much better than the old one and looks great on mobile phone devices. Not only is Paul great at designing web-sites he is also a great photographer as he took all the photos of the vehicles. Since the launch of our new web-site the visits to it have also increased considerably.
